According to the Recruitment Process Outsourcing Association, there are eight red flags to look for in an RPO service provider to make sure that you avoid potential pitfalls and get the help that you need. The second red flag on their list is “Our team will be dedicated to your account 100% of the time.”
With all due respect, this may be the case for many of the RPOs and agencies out there. However, this does not apply to My Recruiting Team. Please allow us to explain more.
Experienced RPO service providers know when and how to allocate resources across their organization. Indeed, RPO service providers need to be able to move their people from one business partner account to another depending on the business partner’s needs. However, whilst there is a sufficient amount of work to preoccupy a recruiter’s time, it is essential that the recruiter’s time would be dedicated to your business partner.
While your business partners may be scaling up or scaling down their recruitment efforts, as an RPO service provider, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are providing your business partners with the flexibility and the attention they deserve. Should the recruitment efforts be scaling down to a level that does not justify the dedication of recruiters to your business partners’ accounts, you should discuss alternative options with your business partners and most importantly, you must ensure that they are happy and agree to the options provided.
At the end of the day, your business partners are paying for a service. The least you can do is to provide your business partners their money’s worth. Do not juggle between your business partners to save on your internal costs. As an RPO service provider, it is your obligation to deliver quality to your business partners and to ensure that their business and brand are at the top of your priorities.
